Two Silly Birds
This is the second book in the Toot & Hoot Flute Headjoint Storybook series. Meet Silly Bird Blue and Silly Bird Yellow, two birds who live just a few branches away from each other and love to compete! They soon learn the importance of listening and how to enjoy making music together.
Much like the first book in this series—The Mouse and The Cheese—students use the flute headjoint to create sound effects that accompany the narrative, while a teacher, parent, or fellow flutist reads the story. It ends with a short composition activity for the student.
