Folk Songs for little Flute Ensembles

Folk Songs for little Flute Ensembles

$5.00Price

A collection of three folk songs arranged for multi-ability flute ensemble:

1. Fanga Alafia (Nigeria)

2. Ning Wendete (Kenya)

3. Bow Wow Wow (England)

Each song is arranged in G Major and in B flat Major to cater for beginners and also students learning in school band programs.

Parts can be played separately, all together, or in any combination.  Rhythmic ostinatos on percussion instruments may also be added.  Create your own unique performance, for example by starting with just one player and gradually adding players until everyone is playing all together.  You may then decide to take away one part at a time to hear how the different parts sound together.  The possibilities are endless!

The parts are short and easy to learn, making them great for warm up sessions for group classes, and band camps. They also provide an excellent finale for a teacher's studio concert as they include players of differing ages and abilities.
