FlutePlay with The Animals
This lesson plan bundle will bring your flute lessons to a whole new level by motivating your students and encouraging their imagination to go wild. We hope these lessons will also invite you to have as much fun as your students while teaching and creating your own additional lesson plans.
WHY THE ANIMALS?
Already from a very young age, children are exposed to animals. From seeing pets at home or at a friend's house, they quickly move to taking walks in the park, watching ducks in the water and spotting squirrels in the trees. Animals are living, breathing beings, just like us! It's interesting to see how children interact with animals and how they have fun imitating them - from making first sounds like "moo" and "baa" to crawling on the floor like a bear, flying around the house like a bird, or panting and barking like a dog. Children engage with animals; they can see them, feel them, hear them and PLAY with them! FlutePlay with the Animals is where real life and imagination connects. Children will take their real life experiences with animals they know (and even ones they imagine) to develop skills and create music, art, and more using their creativity and imagination.
