Three Halloween Pieces for Young Flutists
Hello flutists, flute teachers, and flute families!
Looking to add some Halloween fun to your flute lessons? These three pieces are written for students aged 4-11 years old. Each piece uses a variety of articulations, dynamics, a few trills and even some special sound effects to add to the spooky atmosphere! The pieces use the following notes and rhythms:
- A Dark Starless Night: G A Bb C D2 | half notes and quarters
- The Distressed Phantom: E F# A B C2 | half notes and quarters
- Black Cat Creeping: G1 to Bb2 with F#, Eb and Bb | eighth notes, quarter rest
Included in this bundle are both colour and black & white versions of each song. The colour versions are bright and vibrant while the black and white versions are easier on your printer while inviting students to get creative and colour the music themselves. All versions are delightfully spooky!
I hope you and your young flutists enjoy this Halloween music as much as I enjoyed creating it!
