Pin the Headjoint on the Ghost

Pin the Headjoint on the Ghost

$2.00Price

Did you ever play Pin the Tail on the Donkey when you were young? Well....imagine that, but for flute!  👻

Introducing Pin the Headjoint on the Ghost - a fun new game for spooky flute parties!!  But before you continue scrolling - this activity is much more than a silly party game....let me share:

By this point in the year, I imagine many of your little and beginner flutists will know where to place the mouthpiece to create a beautiful sound....but who says they can't take a short break to have some fun?!

I've played this in the traditional sense: students take turns being blindfolded, spun around, and then asked to place the headjoint as close to the ghost's embouchure.  Closest headjoint wins a prize! This usually leads to a great deal of laughter, team building, and relationship development.  Win-win-win!

I've also played this with students individually as a manipulative to reinforce headjoint placement.  This bundle includes several different ghosts - each with a different embouchure, so placement varies slightly on each one.  This activity has led to fantastic conversations about embouchures and how flutists all over the world play.

This product includes 2 versions: 8.5x11" and 11x17"
