Interval Training Cards
The interval training cards are a collection of cards to help your students become better at recognizing and playing the intervals. These cards are divided into intervals from prime to octave based on a C major scale. Large and small numbers have been made so that it is also possible to talk about small and large intervals. In addition, the set contains blank cards, so you can write your own intervals both with letters and with notes.
The cards can be used in several different ways:
- As a flip game where you have to find the corresponding card. Here you can use two or three sets of cards, depending on how difficult it should be.
- As a game where it is important to play the interval correctly first. Here you can choose to use only the notes, numbers or node names.
- As a listening task where you have to listen first and then find the right interval.
Print all the cards. Choose which backside you want to use. Cut out the cards and put them together with the selected back. You can choose the same back side for all the cards or different backs for the three types of cards.
Good luck with the cards.
