FlutePlay with The Planets
This lesson plan bundle will bring your flute lessons to a whole new level by motivating your students and encouraging their imagination to go wild. We hope these lessons will also invite you to have as much fun as your students while teaching and creating your own additional lesson plans.
WHY THE PLANETS?
Wouldn't we all like to be an astronaut, even just for one day? Wouldn't we like to put on our safety belts and blast off into space? To see our beautiful planet while surrounded by all the stars in the galaxy. The magic and excitement of discovering new planets while sitting on a star; watching how the moon tries to catch the sun, and yet, never does. Space is such a familiar topic to children. Using the planets as a theme gives teachers many opportunities to build fun and adventurous lessons. Because space itself does not have any limits, this topic allows teachers and students to push their own limits and expand their creativity.
